 Mean, mean Australia

What happened at the SCG during the second test is yet another proof of the Australia’s contradictory nature. They claim that they play the gentlemen’s game with a healthy attitude and they exposed their rotten attitude to the world during the last match, which obviously didn’t catch the eye of ICC. Claiming wickets which everybody knew were not theirs, refusing to leave when they are obviously out, provoking a player and crying ‘foul’ (read ‘RACISM’) over the reaction of the ‘black’! (Read ‘Harbhajjan Singh’), calling themselves the best team in all manner (What?!)…… Who are they kidding?

Unlike our Tendulkar and Dravid the Australia are known to stand their ground until declared out by the umpire but what Clarke did was too much. None of them showed remorse for the way they took Dravid’s wicket. Gilchrist and Ponting never flinched. How mean! They call this ‘spirit’?

The Symonds-Harbhajjan incident wouldn’t have been more than an exchange of a few words (one: “mind your job, okay?” The other: “You mind your job, okay?”) But Ponting raised the racism issue (note that it was him who started the issue in India instead of the ‘victim’). India and Indians have nothing to do with racism. Of course we are prejudiced in the basis of caste, religion and financial status but colour? No! We come under the ‘victims’ section. We’re being bullied for ages. But the Australians are notorious racists. They’re doing dirty politics with Buckner and Benson in their socks and the ICC in their pockets. No decent person/team would’ve wanted the sort of victory they had.

I’m proud of our men. Look at they way they carry themselves. Sometimes I feel like, “Come back men! You’re not so mean to play with them. They may win lots of trophies (who knows how many of them are honest victories). But they can never be equal to you”
But then let them play their honest, decent cricket. The victory doesn’t matter. We know that ours is the best team in the whole world integrity wise. Let’s prove it again.
Go India, go!
