Since we all have phones and also have our own reasons for buying them, lets discuss the WHY. Perhaps you can help someone looking for a phone.

I own a Sony Ericsson K780i and frankly it is the best phone for my needs. So far I have been very loyal to Nokia as I had tried a few other phones earlier and was rather dissapointed. However, with the new gen SE these guys have really gotten their act together. The phone is good looking, super fast, has unlinted contacts, a 3 megapixel camera, and one of the richest interface I have seen. hands down it is a winner.

Motorola A1200 - One of d best phones I have come across in my entire life, is a PDA, a look at its flip says a lot bout d technology advancement, supports google n gmail but not yahoo / yahoo messenger. browsing speed is gud, works wonders if attached wid d notebook, can b operated fully wid voice commands ( a gr8 help while driving )..
sum ppl mite find operating a PDA cumbersome but dis is one phone dats worth giving a try.
Has a 2Mp camera, audio quality is not upto the mark but is good wen headsets come into play, supports email, has a business card reader ( jus click a business card and it'll automatically store all d contact details), can also b used as a modem.

these r the only two models that i have managed to hold onto for more than 6months ;)

Nokia N80 and Motorola A1200

N80 has 3mp camera, mp3 player, sound quality is awesome, has d best screen resolution, user friendly, supports yahoo mail n messenger, gmail can also b downloaded, browsing speed is cool, adobe pdf..

online prints thru Kodak can alsp b ordered, pics can also b uploaded at frickr, at nokia life blogs,, resolution of the screen can b checked by browsing google maps

perfect phone for work n play :)

i use a 1GB card wid dis phone n d phone doesnt give any trouble as it supports 1GB card.
