About me : I believe everyone has a right to life whatever life they want providing they do not harm themselves or others by doing so. I am not religious but have own 'code of conduct' and expect similer from friends. I do not appreciate people trying to impose their own religious beliefs on me. I keep just a few chosen friends. I do to some extent believe in 'Karma' if you do good then you will be protected from evil and if you do harm you will be punished in this or in your next life. |

Interest & Hobbies : Reading(fiction esp classics and non fiction esp self help). Love reading poems used to write them as well. Love going for walks, one of my favourite being along embankment near Tower Bridge. Absolutely love Hindi music, old and new. Love 80's English music especially soul. |

Favorite Music & Artists : Of course love the 'old' singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale, Kishore, Mukesh, Moh'd Rafi, Yesudas, Mahendra Kapoor etc. Love the newer singers like Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shaan etc My fav 'newest' singers are Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal, Sukhvinder, etc Not too fond of remixes. |

Favorite Books & Authors : All of Jane Austen's works, Charlotte Bronte's and other Bronte sister's works, Charles Dicken's Great Expectations and Christmas Carol, Thomas Hardy's works esp Tess of the D'Ubervilles, Return of the Native, Far from the madding crowd but found Jude the obscure too depressing. Henry James Portrait of a lady etc. Love poems by William Wordsworth 'Daffodils' and 'Upon Westminster Bridge', William Blake 'Tiger', Rudyyard Kipling 'If'and lots others. Recently read some Imageasian books written by Indian authors. |

Favorite Movies, Actors & Directors : Loved most of Shah Rukh Khan's entertaining films DDLJ, KHNH, KKKG, KKHH, KANK, Loved Jodhaa Akhbar film and music and thought Hritik and Ash looked so stunningly handsome and Beautiful respectively. Loved some of Madhuri Dixit's films like HAKHK, Saajan, DTPH, Koyla more recently Aaja Nachle. Love Rani Mukerji in Saathiya, Chalte Chalte, KKHH, BAB. Liked Abhishek in Guru and loved the music of it and Refugee. |
