About me : I am a straight-forward person. I am frank, honest and firm without being rude nor hurt anyone's feelings. I come from a very cultured background...and I believe that without culture there's no difference between a human being and a beast. Vulgarity is a sign of beastliness for me. And I keep away from any such creatures. In fact, I constantly pray (hey hey!!) that such creatures keep away from my path. I am very poetic and enjoy the small things such as a bird in flight, a drop of morning dew on a flower petal, the sound of the wind and the drizzle on winter mornings....mist shrouding the mountains, the gurgling of streams, wild flowers in untrodden paths. I am very innocent at heart. In fact, I am a childlike person...(please don't confuse childlikeness with childishness). I love interaction with people from all walks of life. But dialogues are important or else it can be very boring as a one-sided talk is not conversation but a monologue. Wit and humour are the soul of good conversations. I enjoy chatting with my best friend as we share a terrific rapport. I guess that's the foundation of a proper friendship or any relationship. I cannot tolerate the 'playing games' stuff...like keeping away from someone who likes you...to make the person miss u.... |

Favorite Music & Artists : Music is balm to my soul..but spare me from hard rock ...I like both modern and classic music...but with a good beat - be it Indian, Chinese, Western...etc.. My favourite singers are Mohammad Rafi, Talat Mahmood, Hemant Kumar among the classic singers. As for the new ones, my favourites are Atif Aslam, Kunal, Sonu Nigam, Himesh Reshammiya and the smiling Shaan. Alka Yagnik' voice is very appealling. Moreover, she has a good personality and is very dignified. Among the classics, I go for Geeta Dutt and the all-time and evergreen Asha Bhonsle.... Among the music directors, the India cinema can boast of Naushad, O.P.Nayyar, Salil Chaudhary, A. R. Rahman, Himesh Reshammiya, Jatin Lalit..and M.M Kreem. Jagjit(Jisne Jag Ko Jeet Liya) Singh and Mehdi Hassan are the Kings Of Ghazal..French singers Mike Brant...the greatest European romantic singer, Patrick Bruel, Yannick Noah..and Elvis Presley for his Blues.. |

Favorite Books & Authors : "God Father" of Mario Puzo...a classic...I have a penchant for James Hadley Chase...the master thriller...his stories are narrated with such precision and keeps one guessing..never allowing one to realise the outcome. His language is racy and punchy. I can't say which one of his novels is my favourite as they are all equally matchless. Sidney Sheldon is also very good..especially "The Other Side Side of Midnight," and the "Rage of Angels,". As for humour, no one can beat P.G. Woodhouse. I enjoy cartoons ...the army comic is simply terrific and Sarge is my favourite character. Gosh isnt he funny, especially when he has just woken up... Hard to describe him...Well.. it's just the Sarge look.. |

Favorite Movies, Actors & Directors : Indianwise my most favourite film is "Mughal-E-Azam, a lengendary epic. No need to talk about Dilip Kumar's performance...simply classic. "Mere Sanam," an old romantic movie was a great entertainer...Can we forget "Pukarta Chala Hoon Main." "Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayeinguey" - SRK turned people crazily romantic. It made headlines for years...."Saathiya" - the song "O Hamdam Suniyorey.." a classic in pop music....My favourite actors :Inimitable Dilip Kumar..Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel,Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bacchchan, and of course the list can't be completed without the dashing King Khan. Among the actresses, I like Meena Kumari, Sadhana, the not-so-old Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee and Shilpa Shetty.Directorwise, it's definitely the witty Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Shaad Ali, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vikram Bhatt, Mahesh Manjrekar..American wise, my favourite actors are Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Robert Duval..Actresses: Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones..Favourite Director: Francis Lord Cappola for his classic Godfather..Film: Any guesses |
