About me : I am a jack of all and master of none , with varied exposures and experiences in life having served in Indian Air Force , Canara Bank and subsequently tried a stint as an advocate of Karnataka High Court. I served as a Ground Engineer (Electrical) (1960-75) , as a general manager of a Regional Rural Bank(Chitradurga gramin Bank ) on deputation from the sponsor Canara bank and retired as a Senior Manager (1975-2001). I tried to become a practising Advocate , but found myself a fish out of water , due to my inability to compromise in an atmosphere of manipulation , deceipt and unethical competition ( from my point of view ) which was against my spiritual bent of mind !!! I have never been unemployed, having started my career as a clerk in a High School at the age of 16 . My acquired qualification is B.A (Public Administartion ); LL.B; D.E.E . Even after retirement , though I DID not take up any regular re-employment , I have been freelancing as a legal consultant, share Trader , Teacher of Spoken English and taking up assignments as a guest lecturer / Trainer in subjects like Spirituality ,Life , Meditation structured by me in my forum "Face Life"(character Institute ) in addition to Banking , Marketing , Customer service , Self-Help groups in Rural Development , Effective Communication , Motivation , Behavioural aspects , Morality , Gender Sensitisation etc I am a freelance counsellor on Life issues also. |

Interest & Hobbies : At present Spirituality keeps me occupied as I have a fetish towards this occult subject. I write letters to a few dailies on Social Issues and I have few Articles on Hindu Philosophy like "Tyaga Yoga " etc. I am a propagator of the life-truths elucidated in the " Bhagavad Gita" , which is a condensed compendium of art of living , by facing life !!! I am JOVIAL by nature , seek humour in real life and romantic at heart to spread unstinted love around. I strive to forgive and forget and keep myself light-headed and light-hearted. Less luggage more comfort. Spirituality has become my moral reinforcement and mainstay interest , as I have always lived a life with clean Head , Heart and Hands. Reading Spiritual Books , in addition to Novels , and all kinds of literature , fiction or non-fioction , self-improvement series is another hobby. My lifestyle weakness is watching movies , listening to music especially Hindi Movie songs of yester years etc I am an original thinker and spiritual seeker , keenly interested in unfolding the mysteries of Life , the Karma theory , idiosyncrasies of effects of destiny , invoking intrinsic divine , spiritual and super-natural powers for one's own self - improvement , living with equanimity in the life's trials and tribulations and facing the challenges encountered in the process of continual "change" which is the only permanent feature in this transient world !!! I strive to enlighten people on the commercial , pseudo spiritual paths being propagated which is practically difficult to imbibe in the ordinary lives of common people . The hype and hippocracy surrounding the spiritual propagation has made this a life-style subject , something scarce and scary , from being the fundamental implication of everyone's life. The awareness and practice of spirituality leads to a natural enlightenment and weans us away , from the self -defeating ways of life. Spirtuality is only a way of life which if adopted enables us to to live conforming to the spirit of nature or God. |

Favorite Music & Artists : Indian Classical , semi-classical , movie melodies , even English songs with meaningful lyrics I enjoy. None is an all time favourite , I like all music which is melodious to hear and solacious to mind and heart. I like many vocal singers . Music is also an evolving art and all arew best as long as they render soulful music - vocal , instrumental , dance or enact. . Pandit Ravishankar , Chourasia , Zakir Hussain Lata Mangeshkar , Asha Bhonsle , Mohammed rafi , Abhijit , Sonu Nigam , Shreya Ghoshal etc to name the few. |

Favorite Books & Authors : Books on behavioural aspects , Novels , Fiction or Non-fiction , Books on Spirituality , Health Guides , Self -help books etc I used to read a lot of Irwing Wallace , Parry Mason , James Hadley Chase , Agatha Christie etc I enjoy reading all kinds of literature including detective / suspence Novels , social novels , Books on Psychlogy , mythology , Philosophy et al. Religious books by saints social reformers like Mahatma Gandhi ,Swamy Vivekananda etc. Dale Carnige foundation Books , books on management etc also I read. |

Favorite Movies, Actors & Directors : All kinds of movies especiaslly those which are directed well , whether humorous or with any socially relevant issues / message , love stories differently narrated etc are to my liking. I enjoy English movies also , as they are more realistically shot and have a variety of stories / themes / subjects , unlike Hindi movies , which many a time , repeat the story line . Amitabh bachan , Sharukh Khan , Naseeruddin Shah , Shabana Ajmi , Rani Mukherjee, Kajol , Aishwarya Rai are some of the favourites. Sanjay Leela Bhansali , David Dhavan , Karan Johar etc are good directors of Hindi cinema. In English I like many actors and directors , as they are not repeated very often. Their names are immaterial , as I cannot recall all of them , easily. |
