Lalgudi, Joshi, Kishore, Rafi, Hemant, Suchitra, list is endless. ![]() I am partial to reggae, rock, jazz and western classical ( preferably Beethoven and Bach) ![]() One day listening to Wynton Marsalis playing Baroque, one day Ennio Morricone/ Shadows/ Shakti, ... suddenly scoot over to the Oldies ... then take a right angled turn and head over to jethro Tull, Judas Priest, Dylan, guthrie, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Supertramp ... u getthepicture? ... Ledzep interposed between the Kingston Trio and Pink Floyd, The Travelling Wiburys or Carpenters sandwiched between Bach and Iron Maiden or Twisted Sister ... Sick! |

Favorite Books & Authors : Well lets start with Pelham Grenville Woodhouse shall we? Progress on to Dornford Yates, Joseph Heller,Stephen Leacock, Jerome K Jerome and George Mikes?Above all Aldous Huxley...satisfied? On a lazy sunday afternoon might be a Crichton,Brown or Macclean/clone.... When reflective/happy? Jack London, Somerset Maugham,Mark Twain, Edgar Allan Poe...even Dickens, trollope, galsworthy or HG wells....oscar wilde and Conan Doyle though the canon is almost stored in memory...in the same vein, John Dickson carr, Wilkie Collins, Agatha Christie... I have a weakness for 19th century english novels also I like to read and write doggerel. I have also been known to read tolstoy, Michener, Joyce, auden, tom wolfe, ee doctorow...ah heck! list wld go on and on via steinbeck, ayn rand , margaret mitchel and so on and so forth ever and anon I have even been known to read epics and poetry/travellogues, and the occasional smut...be warned! predictable i am not |
