Little girls by the name I cant remember

One more summer down to another try

Now everything is over except us

Close friends enduring through love

Hope is all we own in lifes cruel grip

Will we return to this talk for something more.

Theres only one thing that I want to call mine

Its close but so far away

Why does it keep moving why wont it stay

Backwards and forwards round and round

I think its time to keep my feet on the ground

And stand here and wait for it to come to me

I keep misreading sign after sign

Its all backfired on me and now I see

Everything I have ever done has backfired on me

I think I know why its because I moved to slow

Now I just sit here and go with the flow

You get what youre given and so you must play

Thousands of paths and no right or wrong way

Do you sit there and play or sink into the sand

Well I chose to sink and now Im out of luck

When I did try to swim I found I was stuck

So I keep sinking and I am up to my eyes

The truth will not help me neither will lies

So I sit here and wait for whatever may come

When I am fully engulfed then Ill be done

Even though you're here

Im still alone in my head.

Still surrounded by those icy cliffs

Giant walls so high

Impossible to escape.

A question has arisen

Why is the ice black?

I look around

And thats all I see

A black nothingness

I scream & it echoes,

But still no one hears me.

The vibrations from the sound

Collide into me,

And I fall to the ice-covered ground.

Knocked unconscious my mind swirls

I see bodies swimming everywhere
