About me : I'm 55. Married lady. I do a bit of computer work at home. I like to make friends to share my ideas, thoughts, feelings, experiences, pleasures, pains... I'm a soft, understanding, honest person. I don't like hypocrisy and vanity. I'm also very sensitive which I'm trying to lower now. People tell me I'm very emotional but I like it that way because my emotions never harmed others. All along, I've only relatives. But friends to me are more meaningful. Relatives are "given" to me by virtue of my birth and marriage; whereas, friends are "made by me". I like to have that bit of privacy and sense of achievement. I like to interact with educated, broadminded, enterprising women and men. (No, I don't look down upon any body!) The simple reason is I want to get better because of their traits. Interest & Hobbies : Listening to music... any music - hindustani, karnatic, cine songs. I go in for the beat when it comes to light music. Tapping to beat is what i like most. Shopping, going for a stroll, emailing are some of my interests. I love to read literature on psychology. I spend lot of time browsing. Cricket and Tennis hold my interest. Beaches, valleys hold a special attention... |

Favorite Music & Artists : I'm not well versed with latest pop music. I still like Boney M., Abba, Santana, Ilaya Raaja, A R Rehman.... Favorite Books & Authors : Of late I don't read much except newspapers. I like Ayn Rand, Irving Wallace and Jiddu Krishnamurti Perry Mason, any book that is witty and humorous. |

Favorite Movies, Actors & Directors : It's years since I watched English movies on big screen. On TV, I go in World Movies, Zstudio, and some of the South Indian Channels. I like to watch English movies like Lost in the Desert (Very old movie though), Homeward Bound. Can't stand violence - seeing a pool of blood from the villain is OK but to see the pain on the victim when his arm is twisted ... some thing too much. I like Savitri, Hema Malini, Sridevi... oh the list goes on. Now, I like Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna, Trisha, Shriya, Khatrina Kaif (for her angelic beauty), Hrithik, SRK are my favs - again the list goes Kshnakshnam, chantabbai(these are Telugu movies), Awarapan are some my favorite movies - can't actually give a list. There are movies I like during every year. |
